nickytl
Hi, Ive just updates from a jas 10.4.8sse3 to 10.4.9 using paulicat method. I had to put back my 10.4.8 NV extensions, system.kext and download AppleSMBIOS.kext from somewhere to get it to work again. Now Ive just noticed finder cant connect to webDAV volumes anymore using go (apple + k) CAn anyone else try this and let me know if its a 10.4.9 issue. Thanks N Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/45573-1049-finder-webdav-broken/ Share on other sites

fumanju
I used the SAMBA/CIFS/AFS fix, here, and I got finder's Connect to Server to connect to the WebDav installed on my system, google "WebDav on Mac OS X" to learn how to set up webdav on your own box. Anyway, I wasnt able to connect to my webhost. Kept getting an error that says You cannot connect to this server because it cannot be found on the network. Try again later or try a different URL. the thing is, I can connect to the webhost fine using my XP box so I know it's not the server. EDIT: Just wanted to add that i'm running Netkas latest kernel (4/18)...going to change it to koolkal's kernel from a week ago...see if that fixes the problem.
