JohnPopes Posted March 16, 2007 Share Posted March 16, 2007 i was searching for some information about fglrx driver for X11, and i tried to install it on osx.. but it cant find the x440 dir: "Detected version of X does not have a matching 'x440' directory" isnt there a workaround this? what about the freeBSD ported version thats out there, cant it be installed here? DaemonES Posted March 17, 2007 Share Posted March 17, 2007 No, you couldn't install Linux or FreeBSD proprietary kernel modules to OS X. Even X.Org port to Mac OS X working through Quarz framework.
