Will you guys be so polite with me and say me which drivers or whatever did you make in order to get it working? Check the BIOS settings, and BIOS version (I use 1.70 , but yesterday released the new version of it (1.80)) I have some quick question too: Can I Use S-ATA ports on board, (need patch)? Can you use Front Audio Panel? (if yes, how?) Which Audio driver did you use? thysm00 Posted May 19, 2007 Share Posted May 19, 2007 Hi guys, I have the same motherboard as you have and i can't find a way to make the sound work (only 2 channels out with azalia.kext) do you have a better solution? i also have something strange with usb, it sometimes won't load at startup, and come after one or two min, have you noticed that? And last question is sata supported? I'm about to buy a new HD but if it doesn't work, i'll keep IDE... thysm00 Posted June 7, 2007 Share Posted June 7, 2007 Ok i answer myself, it could be helpfull for other people with the same card: Sata II is OK, i reinstalled the 10.4.8 version because with 10.4.9 core midi wasn't working anymore, event xben scores were lower. And for Audio, you have to use azaliaaudio.pkg from skippyretard, but not the alc888 one, i will give you 2 channels out and it seems to be the only solution.
