Few Questions when installing

Hello,

 

After several installs I manage to install OSx86 on my acer travelmate 3002 wtmi. (10.4.8)

 

I installed the intel GMA 900 package and my display is working fine. Bluetooth also ok.

 

I have the following issues and I was wondering if someone can explain:

 

- after performing a permissions repair on the disk the OS fails to load... It boots up and right before the login window should appear it hangs at a lightblue screen... any reason for that?

- I don't know the vendor ID's/type of the builtin gigabit adapter, anybody has some info about how to retrieve it?

 

 

Some more info:

 

OS X 10.4.8 semthex 8.8.1 kernel, intel SSE2/3 patched (intel Pentium M 1.7 CPU)
