Very strange hang.

Hello everyone. Any help with following troubles will be greatly appreciated.

 

I've installed fresh 10.4.8 osx86 from JaS. Everything installed perfectly, but after reboot i've got stuck at "updating dmi pool data". The cursor jumps to the next line and nothing happens. HDD makes the "b-z-z" sound for a second and shuts up. HDD led is not shining. Help, anyone. Please.

Also the DVD drive doesn't want to open after installing osx.

 

My Config:

Athlon 64 3000+ @2160mhz (Winchester)

nforce4 GA-K8N51GMF-9 motherboard

512mb ram

GF 6800XT

 

After a few tries, i've tried to choose nothing exept that is deselectable in customizer. No effect.

Anyone, help...
