uisik34
hey there, i was using msi nx6600 diamond pci-e vga card with full support formely and last week i have changed my vga card to 256 bit support nvidia nx6800 gs. after many tries there are no QE and CI support. I am only able to set up osx without nvidia driver at custom settings and when i try to load natit and natit universal driver it crashes. anyone who succeed full work with 6800gs and how? nvidia6600 has nv 40 chip and 6800gs has nv 41gs. I guess I have to edit some vendor and device id in some kext like NV40Hal.kext. Please someone xplain me how I can do this I am similar to use linux system but not very bright on mac world. If you could give me summarized clear information or a link to do it I will be apreciated for your assitance. thanks in advance... ufuk from istanbul Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/45302-nvidia-6800-gs-qe-and-ci-support-how-to/ Share on other sites
mrbig
you need to put device id on nvda40hal.kext, nvdaresman.kext and use titan.kext.
