After all, i did the jmicron fix as i read: http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?sho...mp;#entry220843 ok, seems everything fine, OSx finealy recognise my ASUS DRW-1608P2s ATA drive (with the latest FW) But When i would like to burn DVD i have got he following message: The drive reported an error... Sense key = HARDWARE ERROR Sense code = 0X08, 0X03 LOGICAL UNIT COMMUNICATION FAILURE I sterted Windows xp, try to burn with NERO. I have an error: "DMA Error, CRC error, Communicaton lost" !!!Before i installed OSx, Everything worked fine!!! Seems my Optical Drive Fu*cked, but, Itryed to burn DVD ISOfiles with nero, and it wroks well, without any errors, and i can write CD as well. (both ISO and simple files). The only case when i get erreor message i f i try to burn stand alone files.. I did several reboots, and set my bois in deafult settings. Maybe my drive is fu*ked up.. but i dont thik so. In the same time with installing osx? hm... Q2: (now im using one of my old drive. It works fine under Winxp. But OSx doesnt recognise it. "No optical drive insalled"- can i do something with it? do the jmicronfix again?) Any suggestion? .
