Sarghm Posted March 14, 2007 Share Posted March 14, 2007 Hi there, whenever I try to boot Mac OS X 10.4.8 after Customizing it to my AMD CPU in the initial setup, the Darwin Bootloader displays. However, upon selecting Mac OS X, I get a wall of text (as you would if you typed -v -s) instead of the splash screen, and it seems to hang on 'localhost configd[46]: No AirPort Driver Found.' However, prior to that, the line reads 'Login Window Application Started'. I haven't been able to patch the copy as displayed in the installation, as when I type ./patcher amd_1048_new.txt, the files list, but patches nothing since apparently they cannot be written to. It missed quite a few files, but apparently that's normal anyway? Just booting now - however, it's doing the exact same thing as before. Here's a picture of its progress and where it reaches. I've left it for about 5 minutes, it's just staying there. hecker Posted March 14, 2007 Share Posted March 14, 2007 Ok, this might not be a solution, but you could try moving all files related to AirPort in a backup directory and updating your extensions cache. I've found now that by leaving the system going, after about 20 minutes of doing nothing it just turns off.
