leekwanwoo Posted March 13, 2007 Share Posted March 13, 2007 (edited) booting error please... hi i am new to mac and after a lil playing around have installed Jas.Mac.OS.X.10.4.8.AMD.intel.SSE2.SSE3.PPF.1.Defiant.diskutil.biker880.ich7-R.patch.integrated everything seems to be smooth except i am getting boxes on my screen and my sound doesnt work. Also the display is perfect when i am installing the OS but get boxes when in the actual OS , the config of my machine is ========================================================== 2 X Quard core xeon CPU'S[Clovertown] Intel S5000xvn Motherboard 2 X 2GB ECC (FB-DiMM) DDR2 [PC5300, DDR667, 393T(LP)] ATi Fire GL V5200 256MB 256bit Dual DVI ========================================================== -v Natit:settingdevice_type=ATY,Aloplasparent => boot stop (none panic) -v platform=ACPI CPUS=1 Natit:settingdevice_type=ATY,Aloplasparent => boot stop (none panic) -v platform=ACPI Natit:settingdevice_type=ATY,Aloplasparent => boot stop (none panic) -v CPUS=1 Natit:settingdevice_type=ATY,Aloplasparent => pass :-) . . cpu panic... :-( please help me !!
