myha
Hi all, can someone please help me with PCMCIA card, I really need to make it work.... I have a JaS 10.4.8 "mac", HP nc6120 notebook. My PCMCIA slot is Texas instruments PCIxx21/x515. I have gone through almost the whole forum, tried all the modifiex kext's but nothing works, my PCMCIA does not get detected. Here is the output od dmesg: mihaps-computer:/Users/mihap root# dmesg | grep PC Replacing extension "com.apple.iokit.IOPCIFamily" with newer version (1.8 -> 2.1). IOPCCardBridge::start failed IOPCCard notice: AdjustResourceInfo: Unknown error code 0xffffffff IOPCCardBridge::start failed AppleIntelPIIXPATA: Secondary PCI IDE channel is disabled FireWire (OHCI) TI ID 8032 PCI now active, GUID 718b5000299542a6; max speed s400. Got boot device = IOService:/AppleACPIPlatformExpert/C002@0/AppleACPIPCI/C0A7@1F,1/AppleIntelPIIXATARoot/C1DA@0/AppleIntelPIIXPATA/ATADeviceNub@0/IOATABlockStorageDriver/ mihaps-computer:/Users/mihap root# If it will be helpful I can also attach the lspci command from Linux. I saw in one post that I should add my own values for IOmemory window etc... Thanks and br, Miha Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/45150-pcmcia-help/ Share on other sites
