javipas
Hi all, I'm kind of new, but I got everything working pretty well thanks to a TubGirl MacOS X image on my AMD Athlon 64 x2 4800+ on a ASUS A8R32-MVP Deluxe with RD580 chipset from ATI. 2 Gigs of RAM, GeForce 6600GT and MacOS running from an old 40 Gigs IDE HD. But I've bought a new LCD, HP LP2465, 24'' size and 1920x1200 native resolution, and yesterday I booted my MacOS X installation and I changed the screen resolution, which was listed on the Hardware-Displays options. But when I did so, the screen turned black and I can see/do nothing. I've tried to boot with "-x" and "Graphics Mode"="1280x1024x32" without any luck, and I was wondering if there is some solution to this. I think there is some nvidia driver installed - while booting it shows Titan: detected 6600 GT, "now cross your fingers" or something like that, and then there are some three messages with the same beginning: "NV" and the las one reads "NV: LCD 1280x1024 support" or something similar. Any ideas? Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/45130-switched-to-an-unsupported-resolution-screen-blank/ Share on other sites
