Hexland
How did you resolve the issue? I'm having a similar problem installing Mac OS X 10.4.8 [JaS AMD-Intel-SSE2-SSE3 with PPF1].iso on Dell Inspiron 9300 Laptop 2Gb RAM 80Gb 7200 rpm Hitachi HDD nVidia Go 6200 Booting normally gives me a greyed out Apple logo with a 'Please hold down the power button' message. Booting with -v gives similar output to what you posted, and it just hangs with the mDNSResponder message Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/45113-almost-but-no/#findComment-324524 Share on other sites
