Help a newbie from scratch

As the title says, I'm new to this OSX86 crowd, I've read for what seems like days to solve my problem, but I'm hoping that by posting my output log that I will either be told OSX on this pc is possible.

 

The PC:

Toshiba A135-2246

Celeron 430 1.7ghz

ATI Radeon XPRESS 200M chipset

80GB HD connected via SATA

 

using the "JaS.10.4.8.SSE3.Intel.Only.iso" disc

 

I get the ad infinitum "still waiting for root device" error

 

As far as I can tell this is because of which reasons? The ATI Radeon XPRESS 200M chipset is not supported? Is it the chipset or just the southbridge, from various posts it appears it's working for a few, or is it just poorly hacked together and we're waiting for the kindness of Bikedude to release a driver? Or is it just that SATA is not supported on the root drive?

What are my prospects?

I've read about people having problems with their SATA. Maybe you should try connecting it via IDE first, if possible.
