BugWareX86
Hello. I have an ASUS P4P800-VM with an Intel 82562EZ nic integrated onboard. The compatibility list says that this should work. But with my JAS 10.4.8 installation there is a nic (integrated) shown in the network configuration tab but it always says that it is not connected (no cable pluged in). Neverthless, the LEDs are on (LNK, 100Mbit). I searched the forums and I think that this nic is an Intel Pro/100? Is this correct? I read some of the hints given here but none was dealing with the missing cable detection. Nonetheless I tried editing the IONetwork...kext by adding "0x27dc8086" (HowTo) but I guess that is not the my problem, because the chip itself is already detected but not working correctly... Any ideas? Thanks, Andy. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/44969-no-network-cable-connecteddetected/ Share on other sites
