Allistah Posted March 10, 2007 Share Posted March 10, 2007 I have an Inspiron 9300 with an nVidia 7800 GTX. I have a 10.4.4/5 installation DVD. Can I just install that and then use one of these patch procedures to get up to 10.4.8 or should I just find a 10.4.8 image and fresh install from that? The last time I did this the nVidia drivers were so raw they barely worked. Can you watch DVD movies on them now? Is it possible to get the subwoofer to work on these 9300 machines as well? I remember the last time i installed it the two speakers worked but the sub didn't and things sounded pretty crappy.
