macwanabe
Hi I am running the latest build of parallels on an AMD x2 CPU. Works quite fast and it is working fine. How I did it : I took my running OS X on AMD and using the Semtex AMD & Intel kernel attached the hard drive to an Intel rig with virtualisation technology and installed the software. If you try this on the AMD it will tell you your hardware does not meet requirements. Put hard disk back into AMD system and Parallels works. Prawker
I know its a bit to late but their is a MUCH easier way to install parallels on AMD, you just change the line in the info.plist that says "GenuineIntel" to "AuthenticAMD" Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/44803-parallels-running-on-amd-x2/#findComment-320984 Share on other sites
