me@home
Couldn't get a CPU driver to throttle the cpu with Vista, even XP64bit has a driver...what's the matter with AMD ? Maybe I'll upgrade to Intel again after 6yrs. with AMD... Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/44801-v-i-s-t-a-amd-cooln-quiet/ Share on other sites

me@home
do you have cool and quiet enabled in your bios? sure...I know a bit about Windows, Vista, Bios, OSX... What I have found during my 3 day Vista installed time....Vista "should" enable it, AMD won't write any driver as the did for XP, XP64, Win2K...what you can do ti enable it? Bios update ! ...and dont forget the same things to do you did in XP (Bios, power option in Windows...)
