well.. there are several isos going on the net.. I'd personally say go with the Myzar 10.4.6, it literly worked out of the box for me.. (I mean, no problems or anything...) Although you do need to install drivers later...

But I suppose right now, the 10.4.8 JAS iso is the way to go.

thanks for the reply guys, I'm gonna give the 'JAS10.4.8.AMD.INTEL.SSE2.SSE3.PPF1' version a go.

The version I found is 'JaS.Mac.OS.X.10.4.8.AMD.Intel.SSE2.SSE3.PPF.1.Defiant.diskutil.biker880.ich7-R.patch.Integrated.iso', hopefully this version will do the trick. I tried a VMware image of 10.4.1 a while back and had all sorts of dramas. I plan on buying a 24" G5 iMac in the not too distant future, but at the moment I have to keep swapping between Mac at work and Winblows at home. Be great to get the Jas version of OSx86 working at home in the meantime.

Hey thanks Alucard, that dreamlinux looks interesting. I'll continue with the OSx86 but I'll definitely mess around with the Dreamlinux too, I have a couple of spare HDDs sitting around so I might as well. Is that dreamlinux free?

I've never actually mess around with linux, but all reports I've heard are that it's good, is dreamlinux the way to go or are there other linux versions i should look into first? hopefully free
