dll2hell Posted March 9, 2007 Share Posted March 9, 2007 Trying to install the JAS 10.4.8 AMD INTEL SSE2 SSE3 PPF1 integrated DVD, but freezes/hangs during initial boot off DVD (see attachment) System specs: Intel 915GAV mainboard (onboard audio, LAN,video) (Realtek ALC860,Intel Pro 10/100,GMA900) Intel P4 3GHz, 800MHz, 1MB L2 (model 531) 1 GB Crucial PC3200 (2-512MB matched pair) Maxtor DiamondMax Plus 9 80GB ATA133 (2 parts, XP in 1st, other formatted as Primary FAT32 for osX) Sony DVD/CD MS Intellimouse PS/2 Logitech PS/2 KB Samsung TFT Any suggestions as to what the problem might be? durro Posted March 10, 2007 Share Posted March 10, 2007 (edited) I have the same error however i have successfully installed the OS but if i use the -x command I can get safe boot to work but if any 1 could advise me me on how i should go about fixing this kernel error That would be great.
