Hi there ..

I successfully installed Tiger .. the one from this tutorial: http://www.i-hacked.com/content/view/202/42/

Now ...

the sound doesn't work .. unluckily ..

I have:

1 x Intel BLKD915GUXL motherboard

1 x Intel Celeron 336 (2.8GHz LGA775 EM64T) CPU (CPC336)

In system preferences there is under "Sound":

Line Out - HD Audio Output.

Any idea? ....

Then Flash doesn't work in Safari ..

Then Cinebench 2003 screwed and I had to reboot ..

Well, I am just using it since 1 hour so the list could possibly become longer ..

I don't have windows .. I only have OSX86 and OSX PPC.

So how to get the vendor ID?

Also I have a Celeron D 2.8 ..

I do a lot of testing on Apple computers and have my own database.

Now, a Celeron is in photoshop as fast as a G4 300 (never existed) .. so ..

It is not 30% like people says that you loose in rosetta. Or I might have to make some modifications. XBench says 60 for the processor. So it should be ok.

I did install a different kernel and followed some tips on wiki but this is really slow.

Then, some software doesn't run. ffmpegX has problems, only the binaries for the G3 work, but then the app needs to be rebooted every time you want to make an encoding. also Text edit doesn't work. also flash on safari 2.0.2 doesn't work.

Too much doesn't work, and it is too much slow.

You can get it with a Linux Live-CD, it's explained in the audio wiki:
