Hi,

I have a problem with installation of mac os x 10.4.8 jas.

When I Trying to install mac os x on My Core2Duo E6300 with Intel DG965SSCK motherboard with 2GB of DDR2 RAM my computer like an hang out i can't to do anything. last i have to restart my computer.

an amazing fact was that my friend's pc config is Pentium-4 2.4 GHz with Intel 845GV chipse motherboard and 1GB of DDR RAM i successfully installed mac os x 10.4.8 with using my DVD.

can anyone help me why this happening.

You should search the forums or the OSX wiki for problems regarding the intel 965 chipset.

It's impossible to boot without using either a SATA or an USB DVD-drive and a SATA hard-drive, OSX doesn't recognize the IDE-controller on that motherboard. I've tried the same thing on the same board, but bought another motherboard with a different chipset (Asrock Conroe-945 DVI).

It could be that there is progress made for installation on an Intel 965 chipset, if so, you can find it on these forums.

Good luck!
