no high-res like 1600x1200 via dvi on gma950 only vga

hello,

 

I have a tft 1600x1200.

mobo has dvi and vga - both from gma950.

msi 945gt speedster a4r, T5600, JaS 10.4.8 SSe2 SSe3 from jan-2007

 

installation of osx (in lower resolution) runs great via dvi-output.

after first reboot I see the bootanim for some time but later screen goes black - no signal.

if I boot osx with tft connected to vga I see the welcome-anim and after first steps I´m in osx with a not so high resolution - yeah.

I can set now display to 1600x1200, still works.

 

but that it´s not satisfying coz lower quality via vga-cable especially with most website during scrolling etc.

 

any help ?
