Hello all

Everything was going smoothly with my installation. I had used Partition Magic 8 to create a seperate 25 GB partition for OS X formatted using NTFS. However, when I got to the "Selected Desired Volume" stage, the list of volumes was empty. I'm a bit lost as to how to remedy this. Any help would be very much appreciated. My configuration is as follows

Penium 4 3.00Ghz Processor

512 MB RAM

Maxtor 80 GB HDD

128 MB NVidia GeForce 5200

Edit: I'm using the Apple.OS.X.x86.10.4.Generic.Install.DVD for the install.

After booting from the dvd, run disk utility from the menu and erase your 25GB parition as HFS+ (Journaled). It should be availible to install to after that.
