alephbot Posted March 2, 2007 Share Posted March 2, 2007 Having a terrible time trying to get my sound working. How do I do this? I have tried the kext editing of the Azalia file to no avail. The HDApatcher goes kernel panic on me. Does ANYONE have a working example of this I could use or see? The chip is on an Asus P1-P945G barebones. Everything else seems to be working right now, save for sound and sleep. Any help would be great! chuuey Posted March 2, 2007 Share Posted March 2, 2007 I have the same sound card, the HDA patcher has issues with the semthex kernel, use other's like DaemonES, for now though the patcher didn't work for me, I heard that Azalia kext modifications can make the sound work, not sure.
