Guyfromorem Posted March 2, 2007 Share Posted March 2, 2007 I installed the myzar 10.6 disk just fine. I wanted the new kernel so I formatted it (journaled) and installed it with the new jas install disk with all the patches included already. It freezes and gives me the restart your computer message over and over.... so i formatted it again and didn't choose the video drivers selections. It starts, but now just freezes on the white apple loading screen. The sound comes on and welcomes me to my new apple. The keyboard works and the mouse and everything. If the install disk installed natit and titan and it didn't work, what should i use? the 10.6 disk worked just fine. Please help me out.... mtoonsdale Posted March 2, 2007 Share Posted March 2, 2007 I too have the exact same problem with a Compaq R3400 AMD 3400+ notebook. I installed a 10.4.6 hack earlier with no problems, but cannot get the 10.4.8 JaS release to work. Like the original poster I get further if I don't install the video drivers, but the thing won't fully boot no matter what.
