lespaulplayer
Got my mac up and running tonight. It runs beautifully, everything but the audio worked without downloading drivers. For some reason, when I run "about this mac", the system restarts, but I can live with that. Anyways, will using system update to download the non-system updates (such as Java) brick my system? Thanks. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/43882-non-system-updates-am-i-safe/ Share on other sites
Guest bikedude880
Yes, everything you try to update will brick your system. You would be better off pulling out your hard drive and smashing it before Apple hacks your computer and destroys your system Next time, use the search function, or better yet (in Google) <Update Name> site:insanelymac.com Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/43882-non-system-updates-am-i-safe/#findComment-313807 Share on other sites
