Ok, my first stab at using OSX. I got the generic 10.4.1 install DVD and successfully got it installed natively to an empty HD (easiest way I figured). This generic DVD has the SSE3 patch, however, I have an SSE CPU (Athlon64). What is the best way to remove this patch, if any? iTunes opens fine but my audio isn't working (I have onboard ALC850). I've read that iTunes won't open if SSE3 isn't available.

Other than that, everything is fine.

MSI K8N Neo2 Platinum

Athlon64 3200+ (Venice)

1GB DDR RAM

8GB WD HD (taken from my Xbox :( )

GeForce 6800GT

USB mouse/PS2 keyboard
