SideJob Scooter
I've looked at a lot of info on audio problems here and I think I'm a little overwealmed at all the possible solutions. Can someone point me to a good tutorial that will work with my hardware? Thank you, Sidejob Scooter. DiaboliK
here ya go this should do it for ya : 915GUX.Azalia.Fix.pkg.zip it says 915gux but it should work on all intel 915 mobos using alc860. -DiaboliK **EDIT** upon installing you need to enter the following code into terminal: sudo -s your password sudo chmod -R /System/Library/Extensions/AppleAzaliaAudio.kext/ sudo chown -R root:wheel /System/Library/Extensions/AppleAzaliaAudio.kext/ diskutil repairPermissions / My fault on the installer , but this should get your audio working. SideJob Scooter
Thanks Diabolik, I loaded the driver and ran the script in terminal, but no joy. I got 2 messages on reboot that said the extentions were loaded wrong. I think I may have installed the wrong audio patch when I did the original install.
