Freezing Audio on VIA VT8233/A/8235/8237

Hello all, I installed Mac OsX86 on the my laptop Acer Aspire 1360, chipset Via ..

 

I have problems with the sound card VIA VT8233/A/8235/8237 .

 

I use also freebsd on this latpop, And on freebsd the sound card works...

 

On freebsd the sound card comes identified

 

00:11.5 Multimedia audio controller: VIA Technologies, Inc. VT8233/A/8235/8237 AC97 Audio (rev 80 )

 

I serched the forum, but I did not find a solution .

 

I installed AppleAzaliaAudio.pkg and edit /System/Library/Extensions/AppleAzaliaAudio.kext/Contents/info.plist introducing id of my sound card , in this manner .

But with negative results, continuous sound to caw and freezing

Also I installed the kext for my sound card, AppleAC97Audio.zip - for VIA 8237R + ALC655, I read that with my sound card they should work ...

ehi amico ho lo stesso tuo problema... ti posso dire che nonostante la mia preparazione in questo campo, il MaC resterà sempre un mistero....

OS: Mac OSX Tiger 10,4,1

RAM: 2x512

MB: Asus P5S800-VM

CPU: Intel p4 3.0GHz HT

Chipset: SIS964

 

I think that my Audio Processor is ALC655 but i'm not sure...
