Oz K. Fodrotski
Good evening, people of the InsanelyMac forum. Just recently, I set about realizing my dream of installing OSX86 on a middle-aged laptop of mine. Thus far, the system works beautifully, if a bit on the stuttery side (it's an older Pentium M, and I haven't installed the drivers specific to frequency-scaling laptop processors), and with the support offered by this wonderful site, I've gotten most of my internal components working (including full-stereo AC97!). That said, I've run into an issue, one not of hardware, but of availability. According to my research on the Wiki, and around the forums, the Titan kext should offer support for my Radeon 96/700 Mobility. However, repeated attempts to access omni.starchaser.org have met with no success. Be it my internet connection, or just bad luck, I can't get to the site proper. After searching with some minor desparation, I've decided to break from lurking (and far too early, as far as I am concerned) to ask if anyone, anyone at all, has the file mirrored somewhere. It would make my newling OSX lappy complete, and I would be ever so grateful. Thank you all in advance! Guest bikedude880
Tue, January 23, 2007 The site is now back on-line, sorry it was down - the server was moved to another location. After that the actual httpd was down for couple of days as well. Either way, many thanks to the one who is kindly providing hosting for this site - you know who you are - get some rest man you've earned it! Oz K. Fodrotski
I did see the notification on the site, in the Google cache of it. The site proper still isn't available to me, and I've tried multiple internet connections. Heck, if someone could care to e-mail the file to me, it'd be a great help. This is literally the last piece of the OSX86 puzzle in my project.
