mssm Posted November 12, 2005 Share Posted November 12, 2005 A very strange booting problem even after a successful installation I installed the tiger image successfully on my AMD 64 machine. This machine has ATI 9700 video card. So I had to delete all the ATI*.kexts directory to get it working. It was working fine. I ran Safari, checked my mails from mac osx86. My partial success story can be found here :http://forum.osx86project.org/index.php?showtopic=4145 Now after a 2-3 days, today when I am trying to boot it, I am getting a strange msg. : 'nfs_boot_init failed with 6'. Apparently there is a network problem and the kernel panic starts.... Anybody has any clue to this problem? Has anybody faced such problem before? Jchance, are you reading my post?
