ngarte Posted February 25, 2007 Share Posted February 25, 2007 (edited) Does anyone know if i can buy a Apple Nvidia 7300gt graphics upgrade kit and use it on my dell intel pc to run x86. I have been hearing that all Mac Pro cards contains both EFI and bios info and thus would be able to work both in mac and pc. Has anyone tried this before? I have a friend who is upgrading his mac pro and will no longer need the card. i was thinking if the card will work in mac and pic i might as well get the apple nvidia 7300 gt card from him instead of buying anything. gotoh Posted February 26, 2007 Share Posted February 26, 2007 you probaly won't have to flash it since the mac pro NVIDIA cards have a 2 parts rom. First part is regular PC/BIOS rom, for boot camp compatibility, second part is Mac/EFI ROM.
