I've got an Intel Pentium 4 processor with 3.0 GHz an an SATA maxtor disk, but I think that Mac doesn't see that is this an SATA disk it still says that is the disk on the IDE port connected. Even when I installed the os from DVD it hasn't rebooted the computer. So I've got also problems vith booting the OS. I have to use the DVD to boot the mac. Please help me! jbjonas
Those are all fairly commone issues. Rather than dissect them one by one, I suggest you download and install 10.4.3 8F1111A with JaS patch v4.2b. It has a lot better hardware support, and might solve most of your problems.
