veggieryan
seeing this has got me thinking. minpci to pci adapter kit does anyone know if the imac could supply enough power to run a pci sound card like an echo layla? I dont want to give up the vastly superior performance of pci audio for shoddy firewire. seems like it could just "work"... .. maybe you would need an external power supply.. hmm ryan. asap18
Actually, I am pretty sure it is a mini pci express slot, not the older plain mini pci. All it really is, is a PCI express 1x slot. If im not mistaken I could've sworn some manufacturers in the PCI express 1x format.
