Fipo
Hello there, I've got a laptop Toshiba Satellite A110-195 and I want to install mac osX . First I see the list in wiki.osx86project.org, but unfortunately I cant see there the model of my computer. I downloaded "MAC OS X 10.4.8 Intel Only Jas re-seed (SSE3 Only - NO AMD)" from Demonoid.com and I want to know whether there is a distribution work to my computer. Does anyone know? Technobob
I did a quick Google search and it looks like a good model to use but you need to check each component for compatibility. Your copy (MAC OS X 10.4.8 Intel Only Jas) will work just fine Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/43416-install-mac-os-x-1048-to-toshiba-laptop/#findComment-310307 Share on other sites

nglewer
Hi, Technobob.... I already installed Jas.10.4.8.AMD.Intel.sse2.sse3.iso to my Toshiba Tecra M1, done and work. Except the usb won't detected device, sound and wifi still don't work. Did u have any suggestion? regard's Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/43416-install-mac-os-x-1048-to-toshiba-laptop/#findComment-311811 Share on other sites
macbrush
I have a Tecra A6 which has Intel chipset and 950 display card. Everything works except, like yours, WiFi (3945), Bluetooth (PA3418U), and Audio (ALC861) won't work. I actually got the audio on line-out, but since Tecra doesn't have a line-out jack, so its quite useless. I have ordered a 2945 WiFi card, so it will be solved soon. Tried all drivers (edited Info.plist) that might work with ALC861 to no avail, and tried the VALZ driver with the bluetooth module (VALG) also without success. At this point, any suggestions, or pointers would be very much appreciated. Thanks Edited February 26, 2007 by macbrush Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/43416-install-mac-os-x-1048-to-toshiba-laptop/#findComment-311891 Share on other sites

Fipo I don't konw if it works with your toshiba, but it doesn't with mine.... I have some kind of toshiba satellite but I can't make OSx 10.4.8 work. It runs OSX 10.4.6 very smoothly. I think it just doesn't like the latest kernel. jjduro PS I'm also a great fan of Terry Pratchet's Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/43416-install-mac-os-x-1048-to-toshiba-laptop/#findComment-313743 Share on other sites

PanterA
I have a Toshiba M100 Series laptop, running 10.4.8, everything works 100%, except for the Intel 3945 wifi card PanterA Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/43416-install-mac-os-x-1048-to-toshiba-laptop/#findComment-319257 Share on other sites
tracerbullet
Works fine on my Tecra M3. Only issues are like everyone else's is no WiFi and no sound. I do however have USB (oddly enough, I seem to be on some nexis of the universe here, especially since my OSX can read/write to my NTFS partition). Has anyone seen drivers lying around for the Built-in-ethernet (the Marvell one)? Matthew Jason
Try searching around. I managed to get it to install on my Toshiba Portege R200. Both network are working, wired and wireless. Just search around for your device name. It took me 2 hours.
