TJakeIU
I am trying to speed up my hard drive speed. With the generic driver, X-Bench says my hard drive reads and writes around 1.5MB/s . I tried adding the 0x522910B9 to AppleVIAATA.kext and moving the generic driver, but I then get "Still waiting for boot device" or whatever, causing me to have reinstall the whole OS. Is there another way around this? I've been searching the forums but with little luck of an answer. I think it may have something to do with the fact that AppleVIAATA then also detects my SATA, but I don't know a whole lot about all of this. Any ideas/help are, of course, greatly appreciated! TJakeIU
There has to be someone with the Ali M5229 chip running 10.4.8 without any problems... isn't there?
