FavleX Posted February 24, 2007 Share Posted February 24, 2007 My machine was working perfect with sleep function, when was running on 10.4.7 Jas , now I have 10.4.8 semthex(egwan package) and no way to get sleep working, no one haves the same on a machine simlar min???core duo 1,73Ghz-2250 I haven't tested paulicat okik installer 'cause they got more speedstep stuff than sleep, but are promising. rvd Posted February 24, 2007 Share Posted February 24, 2007 I too do not have a sleep function, except that when I hit the button for sleep (on my HP dv1000 it is a small button that is always up; when you close the lid, it presses down and sleeps), OSX turns the screen black, but stays on - if I let go of the sleep button the screen comes back on! But it's weird; it doesn't always do that, sometimes the screen saver comes, and sometimes nothing happens! How do we get it to sleep???
