Blue Dingo Posted February 24, 2007 Share Posted February 24, 2007 hi, im new, and just found out about osx86 i have a amd athlon xp 2400, will that be abl to run osx86? and if it does, i have a mac g4 400mhz sawtooth, could i do the migration assitant to get the my files and software of the g4 to this pc? adriandkicks Posted February 24, 2007 Share Posted February 24, 2007 An Athlon XP does not have SSE2 in ANY SHAPE OR FORM get a new computer (I started os x on a cheap Celeron D system) MAke sure you get a board with an Intel chipset to minimise trouble otherwise you should check out the thread on the OS X on SSE 1 processors.
