PueloCesar Posted February 23, 2007 Share Posted February 23, 2007 Hi, I have a ATI Radeon 9600pro (0x4152) , and installed a Jas 10.4.8 with the new kernel 8.8.1. My card was recognized and it worked with QE and CI out of box, but recently I was trying to play some games and all of them had problems with fullscreen, since it tryied to change the resolution and it wasn't supported. So, I tryied many solutions posted on this forum to try to enable resolution change. All of them using Callisto, and after installing, reverting back, and installing again, I noticed that every solution gave me a black screen after boot. Now, I tryed restoring my backup files (ATI* in /system/library/extensions) to the system and correcting permissions, but now I don't have qe and ci no more! I posting because I'm searching for hours and can't find a problem similar, the black screen with this card and this new kernel.. Back when I used 10.4.7 i remember that everything had worked... It talks about 10.4.7, and there other peaple having problems with 8.8.1 and callisto drivers.. I want to know it anyone managed to run callisto with 8.8.1 with 9600...
