naldo
I have that laptop. Vista runs great. OSX runs pretty well too. Only things that have problems are sound (it works, but the internal speakers dont turn off when something is in the headphone jack), dual core support, and sleep (laptop wont wake back up when you open the lid). I havent tested the Expresscard slot or the SD reader, so I cant comment on those. The Shaun
If you're looking to spend the money on a complete new laptop, why not by a MacBook? Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/43153-dell-inspiron-6400/#findComment-309256 Share on other sites
kevinosx
I'm running a 9400 and both cores do not work! Something with the bios but everything else works now thanks to taruga and the wireless effort going on!! but that setup has the truemobile which should be supported out of the box. Do a search for 9400 and filter by the username devilhood and you will find a complete thread about the 9400 what works and doesn't, how to disable one core etc. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/43153-dell-inspiron-6400/#findComment-309469 Share on other sites
Eric.C
If you're looking to spend the money on a complete new laptop, why not by a MacBook?
