First off, ditch that ancient release of 10.4.1. It will do nothing but give you headaches. Second, pick up the latest JaS 10.4.8 release and get on the install. Third, ditch that ATi x300 graphics card and pick up an nVidia card (GeForce 7300 GT recommended). Fourth, have fun :D

ANcient release! hahahahahaha well i guess this helped alot, cause i didnt even know what version was, lol anyways thancks alot!!! BTW i was downloading the new version before you told me too, and to finish off,

-can I run OSX with this video card(ATI X300), cause Im cheap on money, so, do you really meant it or is just that i can have a better mac experience? please tell me I can run it with this one!!! lol

but thanks alot

You can run basic graphical apps (don't think about gaming or anything graphics intensive) though there have been people claiming full graphics support with this card. I never had any luck with it so I shelled out $70 for a 7300 GS (identical to the 7300 GT except it has a lower memory bandwidth.)

{censored}.

Oh well Ill guess is time to go hobo....

lol

anyways thx for the info i think Im going to deep in the net to search for prices but, well, I can atleast run aperture right?, and final cut pro?*

* ok i dont think final cut proi will do it but aperture i geuss it should right?, but is okay by the time i keep on learning more on mac there are going to come the upgrdes and things for the comp, i just want to be able, at least to use iLife '06
