camhabib
I'm trying to install OSX on a P3 box from the JAS 10.4.8 AMD/Intel SSE2/SSE3 image. I get to the screen that prompts me to choose boot options or install, but it freezes giving the message: "can't find extensions com.apple.iokit.IOUSBUserClient Can't determine dependencies for com.apple.iokit.IOUSBUserClient. Couldn't alloc class "IOUSBUserClientInit" panic(cpu 0 caller 0x001a3129): Unresolved kernel trap (CPU 0, Type 6=invalid op code)" then some code "Debugger called: <panic> Backtracke, Format - Frame : Return Address (4 potential args on stack)" some more code "Kernel version: Darwin Kernel Version 8.8.1: Sat Dec 9 22:18:27 AZOT 2006; semthex:/nebukadnezar/build/obj/release_i386" Any idea on how to get past this error or what I'm doing wrong? I have the actual developer DVD's (real ones from Apple) but the compter would not boot from them, and probably wouldn't even install from them if they could. Any help is appreciated.
