guice
Alright, so I finally got OSx86 up and running. Took a little bits to do it. A lot of buggering around and cursin at my DVD drive. But, it's all working now and I have a couple questions. First off -- On my initial successful install I made the mistake of installing the Official Apple patches and needless to say, it stopped OSX from booting past the initial grey boot screen (it would stall after one bit, but exact text is on a forum that's current down). It was /just/ before the screen black out and the MacOSX desktop loads up. My question is -- How do I install Official OS patches? What do I need to insure I backup and "copy over" before I reboot the system? I'm using OSx86 10.4.8 Second being graphics card. It works, I can see the card, its details, and resoultion options. But, 3D? Is this an on going thing? I'm more now, looking for an application like dxdiag where it can run a series of tests against the card and tell me specifically what's broken/missing. How can I do that on OSX? Last one, for now, is I have my SATA drives working but I have one very odd problem -- "Program Files" on my D:\ (Named DATA) is not showing up at all... Every other folder, as well as the program files on my C:\, is showing up. Why isn't this ONE folder showing up? Thanks.
