gist
Hey, I just installed iWorks 06, everything works great, but when type in Pages it takes a second or two for the text to show up when I am typing. I have adjusted the typing settings in System Configuration of Mac, but I was wondering is if there is anything else that I should do. This also occured when I had Office 04. This is really annoying and would really like to resolve this issue. Also if there is a better Word proccssor that I should use would also be great to know Also I was wondering about the software update, is it ok to download software updates from Mac, mainly the updates that pertain toward the OS, such as the security updates, or should I just stay away from those types of updates?? Thanx Gist (Mac OSX 10.4.8) Edited February 18, 2007 by gist Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/42848-iworks-06/ Share on other sites
thunder.scripts
I don't know about the Pages issue, it works fine for me... maybe you need more RAM? Regarding the updates, you should check this forums before installing them. There are patches for you to apply after installing them, otherwise your system may not work. For example, after installing 2007_001 Finder crashed unless you patched your system Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/42848-iworks-06/#findComment-310070 Share on other sites
