MyghKaR5b
Hey all, building my first hackintosh. Want to use ASUS P5LD2 R2.0 as the mobo (not the V, VM, VM-DH, or VM-SE, just the plain old P5LD2) http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?...N82E16813131048 I suspect it should run as well as the P5LD2-VM but I wanted comments from people who own this mobo. Thanks. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/42807-anyone-have-hands-on-with-asus-p5ld2-not-vm-etc/ Share on other sites
soundboy
I'm using this board currently. It's everything I wanted, it's a great way to go. Only 1 PATA connector works. USB seems stuck at usb 1. http://www.buy.com/prod/adaptec-3-port-usb...tml?dcaid=17379 Gives you USB 2 and firewire. I have a stock heatsink and a crappy thermal interface but the e6600 is @ 2.9Ghz. When I get a better lapped heatsink I expect to do MUCH better.
