No, no, when I installed it, there was an additional package from JaS, which contaned drivers for some various hardware, and included, (as I try to remember), drivers for Nvidia/ATi. So, if you could install that, maybe it will work. My installation screwed up. But, that could be as my video card (NVidia Vanta) sucks, and it is not officially supported.

Right there was the option for Nvidia/ATi, and i did not select any of them because on the forums everyone was saying that there were lots of problems and such. after it installed i had the grey apple logo and screen but noting was hapening. now there is notingness, not even system bios when you first turn the laptop on. i would reinstall if it was for my laptop now not working.

Ok, this guys BIOS screwed up. His monitor won't give a signal. Not even the BIOS screen. I tried to walk him through it. First, I told him to boot into safe mode. He told me that wouldn't work, as he doesn't see anything. So, i said reboot, and then poweroff. Then, when he turned it on, still a black screen. So, we tried some other things, like enabling an external monitor via VGA, but wouldn't work as well. He has a Cyberpower notebook, with an American Megatrends BIOS. Maybe one of you does have a clue to reset the BIOS? Anyway, I told him to phone the Cyberbios, as he has still warranty....

The situation he got is really f*cked. Maybe you guys can help him tomorrow (he went to bed)...
