Character Palette, Keyboard Viewer not working (JAS AMD)

Any reason why Character Palette and Keyboard viewer may not work on AMD?

I'm using a JaS release of 10.4.8.

Specs in signature.

I followed this

 

To get CharacterPalette working, open terminal and use this command :

 

sudo chmod +x /System/Library/Components/CharacterPalette.component/Contents/SharedSupport/CharPaletteServer.app/Contents/MacOS/CharPaletteServer

 

But it does not work for me, let me restart

AH! Nice hmmm still not going :s I see the window launch and then the spinning wheel and then it closes, and randomly redoes the same thing??

Well, you asked me to send CharPaletteServer to you but I'd rather post it here in case anyone else needs it:

I got it from /System/Library/Components/CharacterPalette.component/Contents/SharedSupport/

 

BTW, I tried doing the same thing with the keyboard viewer but THAT didn't work. It opens but it disappears a few seconds later, just like your character palette. Would send me that one?

 

I tried:

 

sudo chmod +x /System/Library/Components/KeyboardViewer.component/Contents/SharedSupport/KeyboardViewerServer.app/Contents/MacOS/KeyboardViewerServer

Haha, I have a working keyboardviewer but that site isn't letting me upload
