My notebook has Vist 64bit/OSX dual boot with a FAT32 partition. When I boot into OSX, the system halted at "Loading Darwin/x86". I guess it is due to Mach_Kernel deleted by error BUT I can boot into Vista using the OSX boot menu. My OSX system is 10.4.8 with DaemonES kernel. I have downloaded the DaemonES kernel in Vista and tried to put it back to OSX partition with Macdrive. However MacDrive 7 beta 2 does not support Vista 64 bit. I only have a JaS 10.4.7 DVD installation disc, so who can tell me how to put the kernel back to OSX partition with this 10.4.7 DVD installation disc, many many thanks.

Maybe I wait till Macdrive support Vista 64 bit? Or, I have a backup of the system on a USB hdd. However the kernel is 8.4.1 while my system on OSX oartition is 8.8.1. So can you teach me the steps how to copy the kernel from usb hdd to OSX partition booting from the DVD? I am a newbie.
