Dustmite
So I am trying to mess with JasMac OS X 10.4.8. I recently got it downloaded, and since I am running vista on my laptop I am unable to ghost the drive right now and just do a clean install. so I thought i would try running it under VMWare to start to see what problems might arise. then I could figure out a migration plan. Well when it boots up from cd and I press any key for install I get the following error message: System Config file '/com.apple.boot.plist' not found Any one know what that means? I am trying to figure out if I am getting these error messages because the iso is bad, the iso burned bad or because I am in a virtual environment. I first tried this in Virtual PC 2007 but got the same error message. Thanx Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/42571-plist-error-message/ Share on other sites
Manix
From what I've seen, one way to get around this is to press F8 instead of any key, and then try booting in verbose mode (-v). Dustmite
Thank you, so this does not necessarily mean I have a bad image or bad burn then? I will try the F8 later today and see what happens.
