enderffx
Hi ! I am using a Dell Inspiron 9400 with Core Duo 1,83 Ghz, of course i have to use the damned cpus=1 option which gives me the willies.... ( ANyone knows of a fix yet ?!?! ). Well, i get geekbench results of 145,5 so far. Then i played around with different kernels to try if i find the magic solution to the single core madness and after an older semthex kernel was installed, geekbench reported my cpu runs at 2,2 Ghz and also resulted higher ( 175 ). !!!!!! Actually i felt dumb because i wasnt aware that i can overclock my cpu in a dell notebook, but it was a fact... By now i switched to Semthex SF9 kernel which runs fine but with 1,83 GHz again. -Is there a way to overclock if i want to ? I tried to set fsb=280 in the darwin boot prompt but that didnt do anything... -Does someone know a tool for win XP that also allows me to oclock my T2400 ? Thank you !!!
